the brief
Branding the track motorcycle and to ensure that the company logo would be visible along with the call numbers.
the client wanted the illusion of motion and the flames would have to extend onto the seat pan.

I was tasked with creating a hand drawn combusting engine look on the track motorcycle. only to use the brands two colours red and blue, with the yellow calling numbers.
All items had to be traced directly from the body to create a seamless effect.
Results
solution
Because of the various curves and placement of the rider’s knees when riding, we had to enlarge the logo at a slight angle onto the sides while using minimal decoration at the call numbers.
application tape and permanent markers ensured the sloping looked natural.
